A storyboard is a visual representation of how our narrative will unfold from scene-to-scene. It consists of a series of still images which have either been hand-drawn or digitally rendered with each image, or “frame,” accompanied by all script text which corresponds to the scene depicted.
Storyboards are an excellent tool for detailed exploration around exactly how a video will look, move, and feel. Proper storyboarding is immensely helpful in matching anticipated outcomes with real-world results. The visual language with which we proceed must be inextricably linked to higher brand guidance—storyboarding allows our collective team to talk it over and get it right, down-pat, so we get it right the first time. Think we can all raise a toast to getting it right the first time.
